Learning British Sign Language Part 3

For this post, I thought I'd add a relaxing picture from my holiday as I don't have a related photo yet.
 Before I went on holiday, I learnt to fingerspell. They are letters of the alphabet which is used to spell words instead of using signs (which isn't as interesting to write about as other aspects, to be honest) and then I just didn't know what to write about...

Basically, I used the same book that I've been using to learn it all and I also used other resources online that helped me. Watching other people use it can teach me how people read fingerspelling and also the correct way of using it.

However, I did find one thing very intriguing- Some words don't have a sign, people use fingerspelling to sign the words. For example, days of the week, months of the year, places and various family members are all based on fingerspelling.

I have taken a massive break from learning sign language, but I still remember how to do everything I have learnt and my learning techniques have helped me greatly.
